Kimberly Clela Davis has taught French in Northport, Alabama for almost a decade, and has used a proficiency based, comprehensible input focused curriculum for four years. At the same time, she began using reflective practices in her classroom, and realized how transformative it is for students and teacher. In her spare time, she takes ballet, and also enjoy gardening, sewing 18th century clothing, cooking, travelling, and spending time with her four legged friends, Ziggy, Alex, and Bailey. She is currently working on developing a series of non-fiction books for language learners and blogs about her classroom at madamechat.com.

Tiffany Dalton López teaches upper level high school Spanish. She strives to build a classroom community where her students feel safe, included and seen. As an instructional coach for the World Language Proficiency Project, she aids language teachers in developing and implementing proficiency based curricula and strategies that maximize joy and effectiveness for students and teachers alike. When she's not teaching, coaching, or mothering she enjoys meditation, literary translation, making music, and dancing.
